North Mankato Ground Breaking

We are growing and the city of North Mankato, MN is ground zero for the newest location of North Central Utility.  With the acquisition of the Utility Trailer Dealership territory from Don Larson’s Allstate Group in 2014, the goal has been to open new locations for North Central Utility in the Minnesota and North Dakota areas to serve our customers.  This newest location is set to open in the fall of 2016 with the ground breaking ceremony having taken place on May 19th, 2016.

The Ground Breaking event was a real success with attendees including the Mayor of the City of North Mankato, members of the North Central Utility and Badger Utility group, representatives from Greystone Construction, as well as the Greater Mankato Growth Ambassadors.  We really appreciate all those who were able to make this event possible.

The new facility set on 12.7 acres will feature over 22,000sq ft with 7 service bays, a large Heavy Duty Parts Showroom, and Parts warehouse.

It has been a great experience working with the City of North Mankato on this project.  They have helped us work through finding an ideal location and all the processes included with building our business.  We hope to continue this relationship after the project is complete and for years to come.
